PRIVACY POLICY
Rationale for our privacy policy
Adkins Biosciences is engaged in medical research and innovation projects that must meet ethical and regulatory requirements.
For us, when it comes to the protection of personal data and respect for privacy, this means being guided by a responsible approach.
We therefore wish to inform you about the processing of personal data that we operate, your rights and the way in which you can exercise them, as well as the means we implement to ensure the security of your data and protect its confidentiality.
Personal data is that which belongs to persons identified directly (for example by their name and first name) or indirectly (for example by their date and place of birth). It is protected at European level by the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, also referred to as the GDPR). Data concerning the health of a person is personal data that is particularly sensitive for private life, and is therefore subject to particularly strict rules, defined by the GDPR, and, in France, by the Public Health Code and the Data Protection Act.
As part of our missions, we may process personal data of patients, and where applicable, of their legal representatives, whose biological resources have been or will be collected for the needs of our customers in the context of research and development projects.
We process personal data of the members of the partners requested to set up networks for the identification and collection of biological resources.
Information relating to the protection of their data and their confidentiality is provided to these persons during their first contact with the healthcare professionals from partner structures mandated by Adkins Biosciences, or with members of our governance team.
We also process the personal data of anyone who expresses an interest in the services offered by Adkins Biosciences by browsing the website, by filling in their data on the contact form on the website or by contacting one of the members of the Adkins Biosciences team.
The information we provide on this page is relevant to you because, by interacting with the Adkins Biosciences site or one of the members of the Adkins Biosciences team, you fall into the latter category of people. We therefore thank you for reading it.

Use of cookies
A “cookie” is a piece of information, usually small in size and identified by name, that can be transmitted to your browser by a website you connect to. Your web browser will keep it for a certain period of time and send it back to the web server each time you reconnect to it.
There are different types of “cookie”, depending on their purpose:
– “Cookie” to keep your browsing preferences on the site and to optimize browsing performance.
– “Cookie” allowing the site owner to establish statistics for measuring the audience and interactions with the site.
– “Cookie” allowing users to activate interaction with social networks while browsing the site, for example to view content located on a social network.
– “Cookie” allowing the conduct of targeted advertising operations, based on information that the cookie stores about your behaviour.
These “cookies” may have been installed on your terminal by the site you are visiting, or by another site that tracks your interactions with any other site.
Our websites use “cookies” to optimize the use of the site, as well as “cookies” for audience measurement.
The Adkins Biosciences websites do not use targeted advertising “cookies”. When activating the link to one of Adkins Biosciences’ social networks (Twitter or LinkedIn), this social network will present to you its own privacy and cookie policy, in the event that you have not already accepted it.
If you wish, you can delete the optimization “cookies” from your browser (each type of browser has a feature allowing you to access the list of “cookies” specific to each site you have visited and to deactivate them or delete them; contact your service provider to find out about them). However, this action may result in the deterioration of certain features of the site, but does not prevent access and navigation through the pages.

You have the right to ask us for confirmation that we are processing your data, to obtain communication and, if you wish, to rectify or erase it.
You can, for legitimate reasons, ask us to limit processing, for example for the time necessary to verify the accuracy of the data concerning you. You have a right to the portability of the personal data that you have provided to us. Note that this right does not apply to data collected and processed on a legal basis other than consent or the execution of a contract binding us.
You also have the right to decide, during your lifetime, the fate of your personal data after your death (storage, erasure or communication), and to designate the person who will be responsible for carrying out your instructions. If you wish, you can inform us of your guidelines. We will save them. You can then decide to change or withdraw your guidelines at any time.
Finally, if you consider that we are not respecting your rights or that we are not processing your personal data legitimately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority of the Member State in which your usual residence is located (the Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés for France).
